This E.R.A. version of the 289FIA is a duplicate of the car that originally ran the USRRC  (U.S. Road Race of Champions) series run by the SCCA.

Unlike the light blue #142, this car.has only a small drivers-side windscreen.  (The cars running in international competition under the FIA were required to have a full windshield.)

The forward braced roll bar is standard in both the FIA and USRRC versions of the car.  While the brace takes up some passenger space, it is still quite possible to ride in the passenger seat comfortably.

No dimples in the trunk lid for the "FIA Suitcase" were required either.
